Objectives and Responsibilities of the Kharazmi University Incubation Center

The mission of the Kharazmi University Incubation Center is to create and develop a sustainable ecosystem for innovation and entrepreneurship within the university. By supporting startups and technology units, the center provides a reliable platform for realizing innovative ideas and advancing toward a future defined by sustainable technology.


In the literature on entrepreneurship, incubation centers are recognized as institutions that support innovative ideas and early-stage businesses.

According to the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), incubators are innovation-based structures that assist in transforming innovations and inventions into successful and sustainable enterprises by offering management services, workspace, and specialized support.

The Incubation and Technology Units Development Center at Kharazmi University was established in 2015 with the goal of supporting innovative businesses, commercializing technological ideas, and generating wealth from science.

By providing workspaces, financial support, consulting services, educational programs, and networking opportunities, the center offers a suitable platform to mitigate early-stage risks and accelerate business development.

The Incubation Center operates multiple innovation facilities across Tehran and Karaj, hosting technology teams and startups:

Roodsar Building (Tehran) – Main facility for startups, knowledge-based companies, and technology units
Creative House (Central Library Building, Karaj) – Co-working space for creative teams and a venue for innovation events
G20 and G21 Buildings (Karaj) – Facilities for startups and technology-based companies
